- Preheat your griddle to high heat and oil lightly. 2. Divide ground beef into 4 equal portions and roll into balls. Season each ball all over with ½ teaspoon of seasoning. If you do not want to use seasoning just season evenly with salt and pepper to taste. 3. Place balls onto griddle, space out at least a few inches in between to allow room to press. Using a burger press, weighted press or sturdy spatula, press each burger into a ¼ inch patty. Cook on the first side until well charred about 3- 5 minutes. Flip and immediately top each burger with a slice of cheese. 4. Place your burger bun bottoms, cut side down, onto griddle and toast until lightly browned about 1 minute. Flip the bottoms cut side up and distribute guacamole evenly on each bun bottom. Followed but 1 slice of tomato on each bun. Once the cheese in melt place the burger on top of the tomato and finish with the burger bun top. Serve immediately.
