½ c. soft shortening, 1½ c sugar,4 egg yolks, 2 tablespoons milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1½ c flour, ½ teaspoon baking powder, ¼ teaspoon salt, ¾ c finely chopped nuts, 2 teaspoons cinnamon

INSTRUCTIONS
Mix together shortening, sugar and egg yolks, Stir in milk and vanilla, Sift together and stir in flour, baking powder, salt. Mix liquids and dry together and chill. When chilled roll into balls the size of walnuts, roll balls in a mixture of chopped nuts and cinnamon. Place 3 inches apart on baking sheet, Bake until lightly browned on edges, but do not over bake. Bake at 400 degrees, for 12 to 15 minutes.
