BUTTERMILK DRESSING

YIELDS

Makes about 1½ cups

INGREDIENTS

  • ⅓ cup fresh dill
  • ½ medium shallot
  • 1 small garlic clove
  • ¾ cup sour cream
  • ¾ cup buttermilk
  • ⅓ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Insert Metal Chopping Blade, add ⅓ cup fresh dill, ½ medium shallot, and 1 small garlic clove to the work bowl. Secure Cooking Lid.
2. The processor is set to chop for 8 seconds on Speed 12.
3. Add ¾ cup each sour cream and buttermilk, ⅓ cup mayonnaise, tablespoon fresh lemon juice and ¼ teaspoon each salt and pepper. Secure the Cooking Lid.
4. The processor is set to blend for 20 seconds on Speed 6.
5. Taste and adjust seasoning according to preference.
