BASIC AND HERBED BREADCRUMBS

INGREDIENTS

6 slices white bread

INSTRUCTIONS

1.Preheat oven to 325°F. Bake 6 slices of bread in a single layer for about 20 minutes or until bread is completely dried out.
2.Insert Metal Chopping Blade, break toasted bread up and add to the work bowl. Pulse about 10 times to begin chopping.
3.The food processor is set to process for 25 seconds on Speed 12 to completely process. Add more time if necessary.
4.For seasoned breadcrumbs, add ¼ teaspoon each dried oregano, dried basil, garlic powder, and ground onion flakes to toasted bread and pulse to combine.
