Ginger Lime Steak Marinade

Ingredients

  • ⅓ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon dried crushed red pepper
  • 4 beef New York strip steaks, about 1½ - inch thick

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients except steak in a single-serve blender jar. Blend until smooth.
  2. Place steaks in a large resealable plastic bag. Add marinade mixture. Turn to coat steak with marinade.
  3. Marinate in refrigerator 3 to 4 hours or overnight.
  4. Heat grill to SEAR. Add steaks. Grill 5 to 7 minutes each side.
