Wash zucchini and squash. Peel onion and remove ends. Peel zucchini in stripes & slice thin. Slice squash and onion into thin slices. In large skillet, melt butter and olive oil over medium high heat. Saute onion until translucent, approximately 3 to 4 minutes. Add zucchini and saute another 2 minutes. Add squash and cover with a lid. Lower heat to medium low and simmer for another 5 minutes. Combine all spices together in a bowl or shaker. Gently add spice to zucchini mixture and place in warmed serving dish.
