Peel, cube & boil potatoes til tender. Mash with potato masher. Set aside. Melt butter or margarine in deep pan. Saute onion, apple, & celery til tender. Place stuffing mix in bowl; add sauteed veggies. Add eggs & mix. Add potatoes, broth & nuts. Mix well. (Adjust broth to whatever degree of moisture you prefer). Place into buttered casserole dish. Cover with tin foil & bake til heated through. Uncover & let top crisp.
