1.Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease 12 muffin cups; set aside.
2.In a medium bowl, stir together flour, the ½ cup sugar, baking powder, and salt. Make a well in center of flour mixture. In a small bowl, beat with a hand mixer, the egg, milk, butter and peanut butter until smooth. Add to flour mixture; mix until will blended.
3.Spoon batter into prepared muffin cups,filling ⅔ full. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden.
4.In a small bowl, combine the ¼ cup sugar and cinnamon. Remove muffins from the muffin cups and immediately dip muffins into the melted butter, then into the cinnamon mixture. Serve warm. Makes 12 muffins
