1 cup sugar 2 tablespoon shortening or sour cream 2 eggs 1 cup buttermilk 1 teaspoon baking soda 2 teaspoon baking soda 3 ¾ cups flour 1 teaspoon salt 2 teaspoon nutmeg ¼ teaspoon ginger

INSTRUCTIONS
Mix all ingredients together and refrigerate overnight. In the morning roll out ¼" thick and cut with biscuit cutter with a middle hole cutter. Cook in hot oil heated to 350 degrees. When brown remove and place on paper towel to drain.
