Ingredients
- 1 bottle (18 ounces) mesquite smoked barbecue sauce
- 1 can (7.5 ounces) root beer
- 2 jalapenos, halved (with or without seeds)
- 2 to 3 pounds pork tenderloin
- Hamburger rolls
- Fresh chopped cilantro, optional
Directions
- In a slow cooker crock, stir together barbecue sauce, root beer and jalapenos.
- Add pork tenderloins, turning until well coated with sauce.
- Cover slow cooker and cook on HIGH for 3 to 3 ½ hours or LOW for 6 to 7 hours.
- Remove pork to a cutting board. Using 2 forks, shred pork and return to crock. Stir until blended.
- Serve on hamburger rolls. Sprinkle with cilantro, if desired
