Slow Cooker Mesquite BBQ Pork Tenderloin

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle (18 ounces) mesquite smoked barbecue sauce
  • 1 can (7.5 ounces) root beer
  • 2 jalapenos, halved (with or without seeds)
  • 2 to 3 pounds pork tenderloin
  • Hamburger rolls
  • Fresh chopped cilantro, optional

Directions

  1. In a slow cooker crock, stir together barbecue sauce, root beer and jalapenos.
  2. Add pork tenderloins, turning until well coated with sauce.
  3. Cover slow cooker and cook on HIGH for 3 to 3 ½ hours or LOW for 6 to 7 hours.
  4. Remove pork to a cutting board. Using 2 forks, shred pork and return to crock. Stir until blended.
  5. Serve on hamburger rolls. Sprinkle with cilantro, if desired
