INGREDIENTS
- 2 cans (53 ounces each) pork and beans in tomato sauce, drain 1 can
- 2 cans (15.5 ounces each) northern beans, drained
- 1 large sweet onion, chopped
- 1 small jalapeno, minced
- ½ cup molasses
- 3 tablespoons packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon coarse black pepper
- Chopped cooked bacon for garnish
DIRECTIONS
- In a slow cooker crock, stir together beans, onion, jalapeno, molasses, brown sugar, mustard, salt and pepper.
- Cover slow cooker and cook on HIGH for 5 to 6 hours or LOW for 11 to 12 hours or until sauce has slightly thickened. Sprinkle with bacon before serving.
