Ingredients
- 1 pound bulk pork sage sausage
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon coarse black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups milk
- 1 cup half and half
- Homemade Biscuits
Directions
- Heat the electric skillet to 350°F.
- Crumble sausage and add to skillet. Stirring constantly, cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
- Add butter to pork in skillet, cook until butter is melted.
- Stir in flour, black pepper, garlic powder and salt and cook until mixture thickens. Gradually stir in the milk and half and half and cook until thickened.
- Serve over Homemade Biscuits.
