INSTRUCTIONS

Coat the bottom of a frying pan with olive oil. Remove the sausage from the casing and brown the garlic and sausage in the oil. Cook the sausage well. While it’s cooking, make sure that you break the sausage up into small pieces. In a separate pot, cook tomato sauce on medium heat. Add salt, pepper, garlic powder and italian seasoning to taste. Add a little bit of water in the tomato sauce can and swish around to get some of the extra tomato sauce out of the can. Pour in with the rest of the sauce. Continue to cook on low heat while you prepare the rest of the dish. When the sausage is cooked, add the sausage, garlic and the olive oil from the pan to the sauce. Then add the canellini beans. Continue to cook on low heat (so the sauce takes on the taste of the sausage). Boil tubettini as directed on box. Drain when fully cooked. When draining the tubettini, leave a small amount of water in the pan. Add to the sauce/sausage. Continue to cook (on low heat) until the sauce has taken on the full flavor of the sausage and the pasta absorbs a lot of the tomato sauce. I generally cook on low heat for about an hour. Top with fresh Romano cheese if you like it! ENJOY!
