Ingredients
- 1 1/3 cups buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 Tablespoons nonfat dry milk
- 3 Tablespoons maple syrup
- 2 Tablespoons butter or vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 cups whole-wheat flour
- 2 1/2 cups bread flour
- 2 teaspoons bread machine yeast
Directions
- Place all ingredients in the breadmaker pan in order listed.
- Choose the Basic Bread Cycle, 2 pound loaf for size of bread and medium for crust color. Press Start. When done, remove bread from breadmaker and carefully remove kneading paddle from bottom of loaf.
- Let cool 10 minutes before slicing with a bread knife.
