Buffalo Chicken Pasta Salad

INGREDIENTS

  • 1½ cups mayonnaise
  • ½ cup hot pepper sauce
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon coarse black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cayenne pepper, optional
  • 4 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 1 package (12 ounces) bow tie pasta, cooked
  • 2 cups sliced celery
  • 1½ cups crumbled blue cheese
  • 1 cup sliced green onions

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a large bowl, stir together mayonnaise, hot pepper sauce, vinegar, salt, black pepper and cayenne pepper.
  2. Add chicken, pasta, celery, blue cheese and green onions to mayonnaise mixture. Toss until pasta and chicken are coated with mixture.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for several hours or until ready to serve.
