Ingredients
- 1 large egg, slightly beaten
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1/2 cup plain Panko bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
- 1 pound fresh chicken tenders
Directions
For Air Fryer:
- In a small bowl, combine eggs and water. In a medium bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Add vegetable oil and mix thoroughly to coat crumbs.
- Dip the chicken tenders in egg mixture and roll in crumb mixture until evenly coated. Add coated chicken tenders to air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Set air fryer temperature on 400°F. Turning halfway through, cook 8 to 10 minutes or until temperature reaches 165°F when tested with a meat thermometer.
For Air Fry Toaster Oven:
- Preheat toaster oven on Air Fry to 450°F.
- In a small bowl, combine eggs and water. In a medium bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Add vegetable oil and mix thoroughly to coat crumbs.
- Dip chicken tenders in egg mixture and roll in crumb mixture until evenly coated. Add coated chicken tenders to air fryer basket in a single layer. Place basket on bake/broil pan.
- Slide pan into upper rack position. Turning halfway through, cook 16 to 20 minutes or until temperature reaches 165°F when tested with a meat thermometer.
